Resurrected Undead Blog

I keep waiting for my husband to add me to his blog so I have somewhere to post, but it looks like that's not going to happen. Thus, I will post my little developer thoughts here.

I went to IMGDC recently in April of 2009. It was amazing to me how male dominated the gaming industry is. I had thought that it would be maybe 20/80 or even 30/70, but it was more like 2 in 60. (I guess that's 1 in 30!) Anyway, it's no wonder that there's not more women into gaming. Men design games that they like, but studies show that fewer girls will play games that boys design while boys will happily play games that girls desgin. How interesting is that?

Anyway, just thought I'd throw in that little tidbit. I'll actually post about game development soon. We've been doing some pretty crazy things!

Undead Blog

Hah! I thought I was going to get rid of this blog because I had too many other blogs to post on, but I'm giving up on the rest of them! Virtual Femme is just a chore now. I have to spend too much time thinking up good world-developing ideas, and that just becomes another writing assignment on top of other writing assignments. They don't pay me enough to do that! I rarely ever visit MySpace anymore, which is where my other blog exists. Then I found out I could import a blog over to Facebook, so I imported the only one I have.

So, this is my default developer's blog now for anyone who cares. Hopefully, there's a few of you out there.
