Okay, so that's what I thought when I first started this blog. I was delusional because my girls weren't home at the time, and so I thought I'd be able to have a blog. I thought I could even have two blogs, but I was wrong, wrong, wrong. I'm also completely boggled by how much time kids actually take because it sure doesn't feel like they take up THAT much time when you're wallowing in their cuteness and cuddly-ness.
While they were gone, I felt like they were gone forever, and I updated my blog like a good little writer. I tried to continue doing so for a while when they came back, but my efforts died off as we approached closed beta and then open beta for our new game, Coin 'n Carry. In addition, I've been trying to stay on top for social media for our 15 year old game, Threshold RPG.
Oh! Did I mention that we also had our yearly convention? Yep, FroggaCon 2011 happened in early August. School started for my kids about 2 days after FroggaCon ended, and we started our Closed Beta the day after FroggaCon officially ended. One of my mom friends told me I was crazy. I think she was right.
Anyway, so let me sum up:
- My kids went on vacation with family.
- I created two blogs during their time away.
- My kids came back.
- I tried to keep up with with my blogs.
- I failed.
- We had our yearly convention for Threshold RPG players.
- We had our closed beta.
- School started for the kids.
- We had our open beta.
- My face hurts.
I'd promise to do better, but I don't think that's realistic. Thank goodness I don't have a gigantic following of readers... yet!
P.S. My graphic is from Coin 'n Carry. That is an artifact display case from one of our themed sets.
